Projects - The New Parliamentary Building

Construction Site: Land being Leveled
The Seychelles National Assembly has for the past 14 years been located in the National Library Building, Le Chantier, Mahe, Seychelles.

A new project has already started for construction of a new building to house the National Assembly and its Secretariat. The building will be located on the reclaimed land, namely Ile du Port near the Ile Perseverance Reclamation. An architectural team from China, namely the Qingdao Architectural Design and Research Institute Co. Ltd, came to Seychelles on 23/01/07 to do research work on the proposed terrain and also for designing the building.
