Hon. Waven
William
was elected to the Assembly for the first
time in 1993 as the directly elected representative of the
district of Grand Anse Mahe.
Hon. William sat on diverse committees
during his terms which include the Seychelles-Chino
Parliamentary Committee and the Task Force on Development
Issues, in 2006.
In 2007, Hon. William was the Co-President of the ACP
EU Joint Bureau where a fact finding mission was made in
Madagascar. Hon. William was also the ACP Parliamentary
Assembly Co-Rapporteur on Aid Effectiveness for ACP EU Joint
Parliamentary Assembly.
Hon . Waven William is currently the Chairman of the
International Affairs Committee in the National Assembly.
Hon. William is also a member of the Commonwealth
Parliamentary Association (CPA) Seychelles Branch. |
